We Are:

Ski For Parkinson's

Welcome to the donation page of Skiing for Parkinson's. In addition to supporting athletes with Parkinson's Disease at a personal and community level, we believe it is vital to support research on Parkinson's treatments and interventions, much of which examines to the effects of exercise (like skiing!) on Parkinson's.

Five million people worldwide are living with Parkinson’s disease — a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder. In the United States, 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone. There is no known cure for Parkinson’s disease.

Together we can change this. We ski race because it's our passion, because it's healthy, and because it fuels the competitive spirit within us. Why not use our passions to generate positive change in our communities? For us, this is raising funds to fund research on Parkinson's Disease treatment. I hope you'll join our cause.

Through your financial support of Ski for Parkinson's and our partner Team Fox (the grassroots fundraising team at the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research) EVERY dollar donated goes directly to research fighting Parkinson's disease. If you don't feel you're ready to make a financial donation, that's ok! Even verbal encouragement to an athlete can go a long way.

I hope you'll support Parkinson's research by donating below.

Thank you and Go Team!

We are shocked, to say the least, with your revelation. But, we know you have the same spirit and faith that your dad had throughout his ordeal and handling the effects of this disease. You can be assured that you and your family are deep in our prayers for your strength and control of the changes which will impact your life hereon. Go forth with that faith, Bill.
