I cannot thank you enough for your generosity and support!!! It means so much to me that all of you have continued to dance shake and donate through the battle! Let's continue to raise awareness and funds for research to find a cure!

My name is Zoe and this is my connection to Parkinson’s Disease...

At only the age of 51, my dad was diagnosed with PD.

It was a Sunday afternoon when we were asked to take a seat at the kitchen table. Perhaps good news was coming but sadly it was not going to be the kind that I would hope for.

It was at that moment we first heard the words...Parkinson's Disease

I shed tears, but my brother held it in. My parents assured us "we will all be okay.” After all this time, they were right. We’re doing great as a family and my dad continues to have a positive attitude about his illness.

Coming from a philanthropic family, I started to think about what I could do to make a difference for my dad and other Parkinson’s patients.

We always tell my dad “to just shake it off” so maybe it was just a huge coincidence, or just meant to be, when my favorite artist, Taylor Swift, writes a song with just that name: Shake It Off.

With help from my family, we brainstormed this idea now known as:

We are asking people or organizations to dance and shake to Taylor’s song and then donate to:

Michael J Fox Foundation

This can be done individually but also through events in local communities!

With a little bit of dancing, we can make a huge difference in the lives of the millions impacted by this disease.

Your support means the world to me!

With love and hope,
