I will be running the NYC Marathon for Team Fox in honor of my dad, Randy Knaggs, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's more than 10 years ago. Since retiring from Marlboro College, he has become involved with Team Fox's efforts to find a cure for Parkinson's. He has served as the Vermont State representative at the national Parkinson's Policy Forum in Washington, DC where he met with members of Congress to advocate for increased federal funding for Parkinson's research.

I hope my efforts in running the NYC marathon and in raising money for Team Fox can make a difference in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for any support you are able to offer!

Everyone can help end Parkinson’s disease.

An estimated five million people worldwide live with Parkinson's today. It is the second most common neurological disorder. In the United States, approximately 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone. There is no known cure.

Together, we can change this.

Team Fox is the grassroots community fundraising program at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF). MJFF accelerates high-impact science through smart risk taking and problem solving with a commitment to urgency and efficiency. I’m one of thousands of people around the globe who are turning their passions into Team Fox fundraisers to help them speed a cure for Parkinson’s. When you give today, 100 percent of Team Fox proceeds go straight to MJFF’s programmatic efforts.
Thank you for being part of this team!
