Shake it for Schaner

Parkinson's is a long-term degenerative disorder of the central nervous system that mainly affects the motor system. Symptoms usually emerge slowly, and as the disease worsens, non-motor symptoms become more common. Most common symptoms include tremor, rigidity, slowness of movement, and difficulty with walking.
Throughout my life, I have known a handful of individuals with PD, but most notably my dad, Chas. My dad was diagnosed in 2016 and his symptoms have slowly, yet steadily progressed. After retiring from teaching in 2017 his attitude has stayed positive as he has participated in "Big and Loud", Nordic Walking case studies, support groups and physical therapy.
As we move forward, we are hoping for a cure or treatment of PD symptoms. I have pledged to raise $1500 to donate towards Parkinson's research and also to bike 250 miles or more during the month of June.
This is where I ask you to please help. Any small amount will help with research to beat this disease.
And as my dad has been known to say, "shake it off!"
