On Sunday, November 3rd, I will be running the New York City Marathon for the seventh time to raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
As many of you know, the work of the Michael J. Fox Foundation is very important to me and grassroots fundraisers like this have been extremely successful in helping the Foundation fund ~$100 million in research programs annually.
An estimated five million people worldwide live with Parkinson's today. It is the second most common neurological disorder. In the United States, approximately 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone. There is no known cure.
Together, we can change this. When you give today, 100% of your donation will go straight to the Foundation's programmatic efforts to help end Parkinson's disease.
Thank you so much for your support and I promise I won't let you down on race day.
With sincere appreciation,
