Welcome to Our Team Page

Welcome to the donation page of Ski for Parkinson's. In addition to supporting athletes with Parkinson's Disease at a personal and community level, we believe it is vital to support research on Parkinson's treatments and interventions, much of which examines he effects of exercise (like skiing!) on Parkinson's.

An estimated five million people worldwide live with Parkinson's today. It is the second most common neurological disorder. In the United States, approximately 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone. There is no known cure.

Together we can change this. We ski because it's our passion, because it's healthy, and because it fuels the competitive spirit within us. Why not use our passions to generate positive change in our communities? For us, this is raising funds to fund research on Parkinson's Disease treatment. We hope you'll join our cause.

Through your financial support of Ski for Parkinson's and our partner Team Fox (the grassroots fundraising team at the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research) EVERY dollar donated goes directly to research fighting Parkinson's disease. MJFF accelerates high-impact science through smart risk taking and problem solving with a commitment to urgency and efficiency. We are part of thousands of people around the globe who are turning their passions into Team Fox fundraisers to help them speed a cure for Parkinson’s. If you don't feel you're ready to make a financial donation, that's ok! Even verbal encouragement to an athlete can go a long way.

We hope you'll support Parkinson's research by donating below or joining our effort as a fundraiser.

Thank you and Go team!

If you inspire my brother Bob Stein then you definitely inspire me. And I have a cycling friend diagnosed at 30. She has channeled her motivation to cure Parkinsons by organizing the Rasputista...put that on your list! Be well.

The snow may be gone (?) but my thoughts of you, your cause, and the need to beat this is very much present. Another impressive year of nordic accomplishments!
