More than six million people worldwide are living with Parkinson’s Disease, and Santa Fe resident Bill York is one of them. In the United States alone, 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year.
There is no known cure for Parkinson’s Disease, but your support can help change this.
Pints for Parkinson’s is one of thousands of people and groups around the globe working with Team Fox — the grassroots fundraising program of the Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) — to unlock improved treatments and find a cure. 100 percent of the money we raise goes straight to MJFF research programs.
Under normal circumstances, we are a grass-roots fundraising organization working with breweries, bars, and gastropubs to create fun community-based events that raise awareness, support, and money for Parkinson’s Disease research. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted to raise money by logging miles walking, running, biking, and hiking with the help of Charity Miles. For 2021, our goal is to cover at least 1,000 miles. And we hope that by 2022 we'll be back drinking beer together again! 🍻🍻🍻
We appreciate your support. Cheers!
