A gentleman by the name of David Goggins does an event where he runs 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. He encourages others to join him in this and use it as a chance to bring attention to a cause close to your heart. This year myself and a couple buddies are going to be doing this so-called 4X4X48. This will take on the weekend of March 4th.
As many of you might know, Parkinson's disease is something that hits close to home with me, so for my fundraising I chose The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (MJFF). If you would like to support this cause please feel free to leave a donation below.
Five million people worldwide are living with Parkinson’s disease — a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder. In the United States, 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone. There is no known cure for Parkinson's disease.
Team Fox is the grassroots community fundraising program at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF). MJFF accelerates high-impact science through smart risk taking and problem solving with a commitment to urgency and efficiency. I’m one of thousands of people around the globe who are turning their passions into Team Fox fundraisers to help them speed a cure for Parkinson’s. When you give today, 100 percent of Team Fox proceeds go straight to MJFF research programs.
