My mother received a very unfortunate present for her 50^th birthday that she never wanted. And no one wished it for her. She was a great person and always helped everyone. She worked as a nurse for more than 20 years and then as director of the Slovak Red Cross in Bratislava IV (Slovakia).

She was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease just after her birthday. She struggled with this disease for 19 years. It's been already two years since she left us... She never gave up and her courage and strength continues in her children.

She hoped every day that research into Parkinson's disease would reveal something new that could help others...

I also took her hope with me. I hope that with our mutual help and cooperation, we can take a small step forward and help others. Please join us...

Meine Mutter hat leider zum 50. Geburtstag ein Geschenk bekommen, den sie nie haben wollte. Und niemand ihr es gewünscht hat. Sie war eine tolle Person hat jedem und immer geholfen. Sie war als Krankenschwester mehr als 20 Jahre tätig und dann als Direktorin des Slowakischen Roten Kreuz in Bratislava IV (Slowakei).

Gleich nach ihrem Geburtstag wurde bei ihr Parkinson's diagnostiziert. Sie hat 19 Jahre lang mit dieser Krankheit gekämpft. Es ist schon zwei Jahre her, dass sie uns verlassen hat... Ihr Mut und Kraft, nie was aufgegeben ist aber weiterhin in ihren Kindern geblieben.

Sie hat jeden Tag gehofft, dass man bei der Forschung der Parkinsons Erkrankung was Neues erfährt und was den Anderen helfen kann...

Die Hoffnung habe ich auch mitgenommen. Ich hoffe, dass wir auch mit unserer gemeinsamen Hilfe und Zusammenarbeit, können wir einen kleinen Schritt nach vorne machen und den anderen helfen.
